Doll collection donated to Kiwanis Club

Danny Davis recently donated over 200 dolls to the Lehigh Kiwanis Club in the memory of his wife, Loretta, who collected the dolls over many years.

The collection consists of finely-detailed porcelain dolls, Cabbage Patch dolls, Barbie Collector dolls and many others.

The Kiwanis Club gave some of the dolls as presents to girls over the holiday season, while selling some of the dolls in its thrift store. Others will be available for sale online, featured on the club’s Facebook page.

Proceeds from the collection will be put into a fund to provide joy to children in the local community through special events.

Danny and Loretta Davis have been Lehigh Acres residents for 26 years.
