Kiwanis Club hosts Holiday Breakfast for Key, Builders and K-Kids clubs

The Lehigh Kiwanis Club hosted a Holiday Breakfast for the Key Clubs, Builders Clubs and K-Kids on Dec. 14 at Lehigh Senior High School.

The meeting was called to order by Lehigh Senior High School Key Club President Alina Rodriguez. The pledge was led by the K-Kids Clubs, with the singing of “God Bless America” led by the Builders’ Clubs.

Kiwanis President Richard St. Dennis introduced LSHS Principal Jackie Corey, who was presented with a check for LSHS athletics from the Kiwanis.

The Kiwanis also presented checks to Larry Hammond, for East Lee High School athletics, and to the LSHS drama, dance, band and chorus.

Entertainment was presented by the LSHS drama, dance, band and chorus. Costumed ballet dancers floated across the stage, accompanied by singers, while the drama class staged a comical spelling bee. The LSHS Chorus sang songs of the season.

After the program, breakfast was served to students from Sunshine, Tortuga, Mirror Lakes, G.Weaver Hips, Lehigh Elementary and Middle, East Lee High and Lehigh Senior High.

As everyone got in line for breakfast, the LSHS Band played songs of the holiday season.
