The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide.

At about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 15, deputies responded to a call about a disturbance at 423 Chamonix Ave. S., according to officials.

The arriving deputies discovered a man who was deceased.

The scene was secured and a death investigation initiated. It was later determined that the incident was a homicide.

The victim had not been identified by officials as of press time.
