Authorities: Lehigh burglary suspects busted; items returned

PHOTO SPECIAL TO THE CITIZEN During the execution of the search warrant, property was located from multiple burglaries around Lehigh Acres. Approximately 25 items were returned back to their owners, to include an Xbox 360 that was given back to a 4-year-old boy.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call on Feb. 9 from a Lehigh Acres resident about a past occurred burglary at his home.
The victim began to look around his bedroom for anything that was missing and noticed that his Samsung S3 Watch was stolen.
The victim was able to locate his watch, which has its own cellular service plan and sends out a signal giving its global position. It was at 2803 Dora Circle, which is the only residence on the street surrounded by multiple wooded lots.
Due to the nature of the incident, detectives responded to 2803 Dora Circle.
Due to the evidence provided by the victim and testimony given by the occupants of 2803 Dora Circle, detectives found probable cause to believe that stolen property from recent burglaries around Lehigh would be located inside of the residence.

A search warrant was written up and signed by a judge.
