Katelyn Woldridge

Lee County Sheriff’s Office detectives found more than they bargained for while investigating a burglary in Lehigh Acres.

During the investigation, detectives conducted a search of Katelyn Woldridge’s cell phone. During the search, videos and photos were found of Woldridge with a toddler on her lap allowing him to smoke what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette.

The video showed the toddler inhale, then exhale, as Woldridge was seen laughing in the background. Captions placed on the photos led to her incrimination.

The toddler was identified as being Woldridge’s nephew.

Woldridge, 14, was arrested and charged with cruelty toward a child and probation violation.
