Defense course open to teen girls
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will present R. A. P. I. D. – Respond. Assess. Protect. Identify. Defenses. – for high school females on April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lee County School District.
The two-hour seminar will provide practical applications on how to assess and respond to a dangerous situation, awareness and environmental considerations, defensive strategies and defensive applications.
Participants must be at least 15 years of age; those ages 17 and under must have a female adult attend with them, such as a mother, guardian or companion.
