Next month’s roster of activities at the Riverdale Branch library offers topics for adults, children and teens. The following programs are free to the public:

Adult programs

– Game Club Wednesday

1 p.m. May 10, 17, 24 and 31

Play chess, board games and card games old and new.

– Book Discussion

1 p.m. May 9

Children/teen programs

– Kids Read Down Fines

2 to 3 p.m. May 5, 12, 19 and 26

10 a.m. to noon May 6, 13, 20 and 27

Youth earn a $2 coupon or credit for every 15 minutes they read in the designated area for a total of $8 in one session.
