The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday at 1320 Lake Ave.

Deputies arriving shortly after the 7:10 p.m. call discovered that one person had been shot.

Due to the nature of the incident, the LCSO Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation.

“This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community,” officials said.
