Nathaniel Keith Poore

A Lehigh Acres man is facing charges following a months-long investigation.

The Florida Highway Patrol arrested and charged Nathaniel Keith Poore, 24, of 842 S. Oro Circle, on May 11 with DUI manslaughter and two counts of DUI serious bodily injury, according to officials.

In the Nov. 6 crash, John Joseph Leary, 50, died from his injuries. It occurred on State Road 82, near Rue Labeau Circle.

Officials reported that a toxicology analysis determined that Poore had ethyl alcohol and cannabinoids in his blood.

As of May 12, Poore had been released from the Lee County Jail on $80,000 bond.
