At about 11:12 p.m. May 25, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at 815 Alido Ave.

When deputies arrived, they located a male victim who had been shot.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.

Officials reported that the incident was isolated and there is no danger to the community.

The investigation continues.
