Suspect in Lehigh murder caught after making 10 Most Wanted list

A woman has been arrested and charged in a Lehigh Acres murder after making Lee County’s 10 Most Wanted list.
Just over an hour after being named one of the county’s most wanted criminals, Imari Ranisha Colon was taken into police custody on May 30.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Warrants Task Force worked in conjunction with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office to apprehend Colon, 25, of 2424 Jackson?St., Apt. 114, Fort Myers. in downtown Fort Myers at 2:30 p.m.
Colon was taken to the Lee County Jail, where she was booked with homicide murder dangerous depraved without premeditation and marijuana possess over 20 grams.
She is being held without bond.
Colon has a court appearances set for June 21 and July 5.
Colon, 25, was wanted in the murder of Derrick Henderson.
After 11 p.m. May 24, LCSO deputies arrived at 815 Alido Ave. in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered that Henderson had been shot. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Within 48 hours, detectives identified Colon as the suspect in the case. On May 30, she was added to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list.
Colon had previous arrests in Lee County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and, most recently, for the sale and delivery of cocaine and marijuana.
