CarFit is taking appointments for an upcoming event in Lehigh Acres.

CarFit is an educational program that offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles “fit” them. It also provides information and materials on community-specific resources that enhance older adults’ safety as drivers and increase their mobility in the community.

The event will be held July 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office’s East District substation, at 1301 Homestead Road; it is by appointment only.
