The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning home invasion.

At about 1:30 a.m. today, deputies responded to a home invasion at 1020 Alvin Ave. According to officials, Major Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene due to the nature of the incident.

Officials reported that it was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.

The investigation is ongoing.
