Officials reported that detectives worked diligently on the case, leading to the arrests.

“The three individuals arrested for this senseless murder will now be held accountable for their crimes,” Sheriff Mike Scott said in a prepared statement. “I am proud of our detectives for their hard work and dedication to deliver justice to the family of Jonathan Delices.”

According to officials, deputies responded to shots fired on July 11 at approximately 8:24 p.m. The LCSO’s Major Crimes Unit was later called to the scene for what had been deemed a homicide.

The incident is believed to be the result of a dispute between the parties that escalated.

Stewart, Ivery and Ward all have court appearances scheduled for Aug. 21.
