The public is invited to take part in a community cleanup along Sunset Road on July 29.

Hosted by several Lehigh Acres groups, the event will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. between Buckingham Road and Sunniland Boulevard. Bags, safety vests, gloves and more will be provided.

Parking will be available at Gunnery Road Baptist Church, at 1880 Gunnery Road N.

According to organizers, there will be a check-in text where participants can pick up their needed supplies and get a map of their assigned area. Some of the cross streets also might be covered.

Organizers said the plan is to scheduled a community cleanup about every two months.
