By Staff | Aug 4, 2017

Katherine Luna

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 14-year-old girl.

Katherine Luna, of Lehigh Acres, was reported missing by her aunt and was last seen on Aug. 3. At about 2 p.m. that day, Katherine asked for permission to go on a walk and never came home.

She is Hispanic, 5 feet tall and approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Katherine was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Officials reported that her family is very concerned for her well-being and there is reason to believe she may harm herself. Katherine has only been in Lee County since March. Prior to that, she lived in Broward County and Miramar County. She may be in those areas or on her way there.

If you have seen Katherine Luna, or know her whereabouts, call the LCSO at 239-477-1000 or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
