The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is onsite of a recent shooting in Lehigh Acres.

Officials reported that Major Crimes Unit detectives are working the incident at 3802 16th St. W.

The preliminary investigation is ongoing and appears contained. There is no threat or danger to the community.
