Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Williams, of Springfield, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Marie Williams, to Chad Andrew Maik, son of John and Terry Maik of Cape Coral. Rachel graduated with a doctoral degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Missouri, in Columbia, and is presently practicing in Naples. Chad is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served in the USAF military police during deployments to Iraq and Kyrgyzstan. He currently serves as a police officer with the Sanibel Police Department. A winter wedding is planned for the couple.
