To the editor:

The Trump immigration policy is a wall to keep out people of color.

The crisis is a crisis for the migrants, not a crisis particularly for America. There is no security crisis (no evidence of terrorists entering our southern border). Most illegal immigrants are in America because of overstaying their visas, not because they entered illegally. Most drugs enter America by vehicle or some carrier, not by human carrier. The crime rate among immigrants is low compared to Americans.

Their problems in their native land and their journey to our border is often caused by our negligence and our misuse of our power. One of the major problems in this hemisphere for every country is drug traffickers getting their products to our drug- hungry populations.

No wall! Spend more effort time and resources to help immigrants stay in their homes. Make economic conditions better (low wage written in treaty). Improve opportunity (education, ect.). Stop polluting their environment. Help in fighting crime and drug cartels on both sides of the border.Solve our problems to decrease drug use and dependency.

Stop this President’s use of hate, fear, and lies in his re-election campaign.
