Will you be the safe place for a child?
To the editor:
Our beaches, schools, and business have closed. Social gatherings have stopped and traffic has slowed down. The world has paused. But what does not stop during a pandemic? Child abuse and child neglect.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) has not lost sight of the need for foster homes in Lee, Collier, Charlotte and Hendry/Glades County. In our very own community, innocent children are coming into foster care every single day. This is a call for action! Southwest Florida needs foster homes now more than ever.
NYAP is still open for business and eager to train and license foster parents in a safe and convenient way. Contact us today to learn about personalized online training opportunities to fast track you in becoming a licensed foster parent. In a world full of chaos and uncertainty will you be the safe place for a child?
