Akepe Gerard Ntube

A Lehigh Acres man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexual battery on a woman who was receiving a therapeutic massage

Akepe Gerard Ntube, 47, was sentenced to five years of sex offender probation and designated as sexual offender.

Ntube was found guilty following a July trial in Lee County. 

The crime happened in 2020, when Ntube worked as a physical therapist at a chiropractor’s office. He sexually battered a woman getting a massage to heal a work injury. The victim drove straight to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and reported the crime.

Assistant State Attorney Michael Curley, of the Special Victims Unit, prosecuted the case.
