WIC office relocated; open at new site today
The Florida Department of Health in Lee County has relocated its Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) office in Lehigh Acres to 5220 Lee Boulevard, Unit 8.
The new location opens today, Monday, Sept. 27.
“This location is ideal for our clientele because it’s centrally located and on a bus route for easy access by all Lehigh residents,” said Lori Riddle, WIC director in a prepared statement.

WIC is a nutrition program for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have recently been pregnant, infants & children under age 5.
WIC provides the following at no cost:
Healthy foods
Nutrition education and counseling
Breastfeeding support
Referrals to health care, immunizations, and community services
