Register for Thanksgiving meals
It’s that time of year again to register for your Thanksgiving dinners, courtesy of Lehigh Community Services and its partners.
Lehigh Community Services is partnering with New Life Assembly and the Moose Lodge.
“We are planning about 400 families, which is about normal for us,” Lehigh Community Services Executive Director Carolyn Peplow said.
This year, registration has changed to two full days, instead of stretched over multiple days. Individuals need to bring a photo ID and proof that they live in Lehigh to the registration days on Friday, Oct. 29, and Saturday, Oct. 30. Registration will be held both days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 1430 Homestead Rd. N.
Peplow said they wanted to offer Saturday as well just in case someone could not make Friday because of work schedules.
“If we still have time slots left, we will also allow them to register online,” she said at www.lehighcommunityservices.com.
Information will be posted on the website when the forms are turned on for the Thanksgiving meal registration.
Once individuals register, they will receive information on the day, time and location of where to pick up their Thanksgiving meal, which consists of all the fixings and a gift card to buy their meat of choice.
