Mom.

Daughter.

Sister.

Much loved.

And missing.

Still.

Lauren Dumolo’s family and friends continue their quest to find the woman whose disappearance took with it a chunk of their hearts.

They want her home.

They just want her home.

As the Cape Coral Police Department continues the investigation it opened last June after Lauren was reported missing, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers has again reached out to the community — to all of us — asking for any information that could lead to Lauren’s whereabouts.

Crime Stoppers sent out 3,000 postcards this week in an attempt to get tips in the case.

“Lauren went missing from her downtown Cape Coral home in June 2020 and she’s not been seen since,” the postcard reads. “We know she didn’t just walk away from her family and friends. SOMEONE knows what happened. If you know ANYTHING, NOW is the time to speak up.”

It is, indeed.

Lauren was last seen on June 19, 2020. Her purse was found by a resident at Four Freedoms Park, 4818 Tarpon Court, a place she was known to visit often. Her cell phone was found in her apartment.

Lauren, who did not have a car, was a frequent walker.

At the time of her disappearance, she was 29 and petite, less than 5-feet tall, weighing about 110 pounds. Her hair is light brown –blonde with darkish new growth — and her eyes are brown. She has several tattoos: “Namaste” on her right side, a symbol on her wrist, a “NY” symbol on her pelvis, and rosary beads on her ankle.

She is known for her smile.

“Along with Lauren’s friends and family, we remain hopeful that there is someone who knows more than they’ve shared so far, and that maybe they have finally arrived at the spot where they’re willing to talk,” said Trish Routte, Crime Stoppers coordinator. “As a community, we need to do everything we can to find Lauren.”

Anyone with information about Lauren’s disappearance or whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers 24/7 at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). Tips also may be submitted online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or on the P3Tips mobile app.

All callers and those who submit tips online or via the mobile aps will remain anonymous.

“We do not need your name. Only your information,” Crime Stoppers states, adding “NO Caller ID. NO Recorded Lines. NO Tracking.”

A tip that leads to an arrest will result in a cash reward of $3,000.

Information also may be submitted directly to the CCPD at 239-574-3223. Anonymous tips may be submitted at www.capecops.com/tips or new.tipsubmit.com/en/create-report/anonymous and through CCPD social media platforms.

If you have information — any information — we urge you to reach out.

Let’s bring Lauren home.
