Decisions concerning public health should be made by federal council of science
To the editor:
We already have a Supreme Court of the United States, which, alas, altogether too frequently rules utterly and completely outside its realm of competence — usually as a result of profound ignorance, political motive and manipulation and last, but far far from least, mounds of money. Too often, this shortcoming entails matters of science and public health.
I propose the establishment of a Supreme Council of Public Science and Health of the United States (SCPSHOUS) to which all disputes which involve matters of public science and/or public health in the United States absolutely must be directed. Its first Chief Scientist should be, I think, Dr. Fauci.
At the same time, the powers of state governors should be better defined and limited if necessary to allow their power to concern only matters of business, finance and politics: Matters of public science and/or public health should be directed to SCPSHOUS.
The opposition, obviously, will be utterly profound.
Bye, bye, Criminal DeSenseless.
