Lehigh Kiwanis Orange Ball Golf Tournament to be held April 23
Chartered in April 1968, the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres is among the oldest civic organizations in Lehigh Acres today. The members are working and retired men and women striving to make this world and our community a better place for today and tomorrow. The club has provided $250,000 in funds to schools, youth sports organizations, local charities, those in need in our community, and of course our HUGE scholarship program. The club’s thrift store at 15 Homestead Road South is the major source of income for these programs along with the two annual golf tournaments. The Turkey Frolic is held in the fall and the Orange Ball is coming up on April 23.
Don’t wait to sign up as there is a limit of 24 foursomes that will participate in this golf scramble at Majestic Golf Club in Lehigh Acres. Along with golfers, sponsors are needed for the tournament, scramble and scholarships. Sure we are playing golf and having fun but more importantly, we are providing the funding to fulfill a student’s dream of attending college, learning a trade, and securing an education. You impact not only an individual but a generation, the student’s family and make this world a better place.
