Sheriff’s Office Community Night Out slated for next Friday

By Staff | Apr 15, 2022

The community is invited to attend the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Community Night Out at their newest outreach center to learn more about the office and to meet some of the agency members.

“My team and I are bringing several assets to our Community Night Out, including our ice cream truck, bomb truck, and SWAT truck,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno in a prepared statement. “Community engagement is one of my top initiatives and hosting events like this helps us meet the residents we serve and continue delivering the highest level of service.”

The event will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Gulf Coast Town Center, 9903 Gulf Coast Main Street.

There will be free entertainment, music, food and giveaways, as well as helicopters, bomb robot, K-9 demos and an opportunity to meet Lt. Hope, an animal cruelty taskforce ambassador.
