The Lehigh Acres Senior Center offers a wide variety of activities each and every month. 

The Special Events Committee Coordinates themed events throughout the year.

We have dances, hot dog day, holiday parties, bi-monthly birthday parties, and several concerts put on by the Let’s Entertain Group which is directed by Aura Wilson.   

Special events are for members only. If you are interested in becoming a member please stop by the Lehigh Acres Senior Center at 219 Plaza Drive and ask for Mary Vance or call 239-369-5355. The Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We look forward to meeting you and providing a tour of the facility. We have several activities and classes to choose from. Annual membership is $30 per person.

The Lehigh Acres Senior Citizen’s Center, Inc. (LASCC) invites all members to participate in celebrating Independence Day. 

When: Thursday, July 7

Where: Lehigh Acres Senior Center

Time: 1 p.m.     

Details: Hot dogs, chips, a beverage and dessert will be served. Red, White & Blue Attire contest with prizes for one male and one female.

The Center invites all single members to participate in the Summer Singles Social

Time:  1 p.m.

Cost: $5 includes DJ Christyle & Pizza – Beverages will be available for sale.

Visit Peggie’s Place Cafe 

Peggie’s Place Cafe  is open from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.  They serve soups, sandwiches and other snacks, along with bi-weekly meals on Mondays.  Rose Ann Marr is the kitchen manager as well as the president of the Board of Directors of the non-profit, Lehigh Acres Senior Citizens Center, Inc. (LASCC.) Rose Ann has worked in the kitchen for seven years and has taken over as manager for the past three years.  

Peggie’s Place Cafe plays an important role in making special events a huge success.  They make most of the food they serve and the pot roast is a crowd pleaser at our bi-monthly birthday celebrations. Special Events require membership, however no membership is required to enjoy the day to day dining at Peggie’s Place Cafe. Come in and enjoy a good meal at a very reasonable price.  

We invite you to come in and check out what Lehigh Acres Senior Center has to offer.  The senior center is a wonderful place to make some new friends, fill your belly with great food, and lots of laughs.
