A great loss
To the editor:
The recent passing of Lee County Commissioner Frank Mann was a loss for all Southwest Florida. From Sarasota to Naples, from Everglades City to Immokalee, to Clewiston, to Moore Haven to Lehigh Acres Frank cared about all of us. He may have loved Alva best, but his heart was big enough for all Southwest Florida.
I served on the Regional Planning Council for 14 years with Frank and every meeting we shared was a treat. Frank tempered his knowledge and passion with grace and humor. I could disagree with him on an issue, but I was never against Frank. In short, I found Frank to be an inspiration.
Goodbye my friend. I will miss you. I will never forget you.
Don McCormick, Chairman
Southwest Florida Regional
Planning Council
