East Lee County Night to be held at Hammond Stadium
Join the East Lee County Chamber of Commerce at the Hammond Stadium ballpark Saturday for a pre-4th of July party, complete with fireworks.
The East Lee County Night will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 2, at Hammond Stadium, 14400 Six Mile Cypress Pkwy. The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels will take on the Dunedin Blue Jays. The first 500 fans will receive a free USA Jersey Shirt.
“The East Lee County Chamber of Commerce not only is here to help businesses grow, we are here to foster community,” Ed Moore said. “We are inviting all of East Lee County businesses, families and friends to celebrate the birthday of the United States of America. While the country may be divided on many fronts, most certainly we can come together over our favorite past time and enjoy baseball, hot dogs and fireworks. Let’s all get together, put our differences aside and raise a glass to our founding fathers.”
This is the second time the chamber has held an East Lee County Chamber night. They are currently in the stages of planning other events, such as golf tournaments.
Tickets for the ballgame are $5, to offer a very inexpensive, fun-filled evening of entertainment for the community, Moore said.
“This keeps it affordable for most families to be able to come out and enjoy the games,” he said. “To receive the discount, the purchase needs to be made online, following the proper links.”
They can be purchased at fevo.me/eastlee22.
Moore said our lives are very busy, sometimes too busy to appreciate what is going on around us.
“But do yourself a favor, plan on attending with friends and family. This will be an evening of community connection. This will be an evening of fun. This will be an evening of celebration,” he said. “The East Lee County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated on helping our communities grow. From Lehigh Acres, to Gateway and the surrounding areas, we invite you to join us as we let our hair down, relax, laugh and have an all around good time. We hope to see you there.”
