American Legion: Auxiliary Unit 323 to hold Purse Auction on July 9; public invited
The American Legion’s success depends entirely on active membership, participation, and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.
Jessica Moore from Lehigh Acres Post 323 has earned the position of Department of Florida 3rd Vice Commander. Jessica emulates service through her longtime commitment to mentoring youth and sponsoring programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continuing devotion to our fellow service men, women, and veterans. Gloria Reece, Secretary for the American Legion Riders Chapter 323, stated, “When I was the Secretary of the Legion Riders, she was the Director, she was my guidance, my knowledge when led to my success. She went on to higher positions in the American legion; however, never once was she not there for me or our riders.” American Legion District 13 Commander Bud Boyer and his wife Joann Boyer stated, “Jessica is a fantastic leader and motivator. She will not hesitate to help a fellow veteran in need or one trying to climb through the ranks; I am profound to call 3rd Vice Jessica Moore our friend.”
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 323 in Lehigh Acres is hosting a Purse Auction on Saturday, July 9, at 1 p.m. The purse auction is open to the public. The proceeds will assist the Auxiliary’s Education Program. The Auxiliary Unit 323’s Education Program encompasses scholarships, school supplies, and ensuring the children of veterans in Lehigh Acres are ready for school.
