An unknown pickup truck hit a teenage pedestrian on Champion Avenue, near Banning Street in Lehigh Acres, on Sept. 13, at approximately 6:38 a.m. The injured pedestrian was transported to an area hospital.

The possible hit-and-run vehicle of interest is a 1998 GMC Pickup Truck, bearing Florida Tag “37AXNY” and should have a missing a left side mirror and damage to left front headlamp and may have been driven by an Hispanic male.

Anyone with information in regards to the whereabouts of this vehicle of interest or crash, is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crimestoppers. The crash remains under investigation.
