The Forest Country Club golf tournament raises $26,000 for Hope Healthcare

This year’s Forest Country Club Golf Tournament raised a record-breaking $26,000 to support Hope Hospice. The amount surpasses proceeds from the 2022 tournament by more than $6,000.
Committee chairs Twyla Stephenson and Terrie Weisse coordinated the event for 100 players on Thursday, Jan. 26. Golf foursomes in the morning were followed by an afternoon luncheon and awards ceremony, chance drawing for an array of wonderful prizes, and a 50-50 raffle in which Carol Miller, past co-chair of the golf tournament, gave back to benefit Hope. Participants wore blue and green colors in honor of Hope and adorned golf carts with butterflies representing the symbol of hospice.
