The Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres is celebrating its 55th anniversary serving the community of Lehigh Acres. For the months of March and April, meetings will be held the first and third Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The meetings continue to be at El Tarasco Restaurant inside the Quality Inn on Business Way. A special menu is available at 6 p.m. for those that want dinner before the meeting. The April 20 evening meeting will be the club’s annual meeting where the club members vote on the officers and board members for the 2023-2024 year.

A special K-family event will be held on May 20 for the members of the service leadership programs in local schools, their families, and their club advisors. The special invite will be sent to the club advisors at the schools.

Thank you to everyone who shops at the Kiwanis Thrift Store at 15 Homestead Road South. You help provide scholarships for students who live in Lehigh to go on to college or technical schools. The next awards banquet will be in June.
