Adult Programs
Knit and Stitch
1 p.m. Wednesdays, July 5, 19
A casual, self-guided group of knitters and crocheters that join together to share projects, ideas and techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and tools. Basic materials and supplies are available for newcomers.
Children’s Programs
Storytelling Together with Windell Campbell
2 p.m. Thursday, July 13
Experience the art of puppetry combined with the art of storytelling. This program uses songs, props and audience participation to bring stories to life.
Mad Science Lab
2 p.m. Thursday, July 20
Step into our lab and meet our resident mad scientists. Watch as they make crazy chemical concoctions that fizz, bubble, change color and even erupt. Recommended for grades K-6.
Little Red and the Big Bully Wolf
2 p.m. Thursday, July 27
Join us for a live action theatre performance just for children. The woods are scary enough without having to worry about a big bully howling in the shadows. Follow Little Red and meet her friends – the three little pigs, the Gingerbread Man and more – as they learn to face their fears and stand up to the Big Bully Wolf. Learn to identify, report and resist bullying as we follow Little Red on her journey to grandma’s house. Funny, dramatic and highly entertaining.
