Lehigh resident Aaron Miranda has been found guilty of sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation following a two-day trial in Lee County.

According to the State Attorney’s Office, Miranda molested a girl while she was asleep in a Lehigh Acres home in July 2022. The crime was reported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office who investigated and arrested Miranda.

Miranda’s sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 21.
