POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive opens Friday, Aug. 4 at The Laboratory Theater of Florida.

We’ve all heard news reports about embarrassing situations that various Presidents have created over the years – NOW get a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes hilarity that happens when the staff must clean up his mess!

This time, the President used a certain four-letter word during nuclear proliferation talks, sparking a public relations nightmare that threatens to create an international incident. When you throw in the unexpected appearances of a pregnant Iowa-farmgirl-mistress and a felonious sibling looking for a presidential pardon, the shenanigans will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter.

“Lab Theater brings our region yet another incredible premiere show. It’s sassy, smart, sometimes vulgar, and always hilarious. The show guarantees to have people rolling with laughter in the aisles,” said artistic director Annette Trossbach.

Directed by Heather Johnson, this show features Celene Evans (Margaret), Loyse Michel (Chris), Stacy Stauffer (Jean), Sharon Isern (Stephanie), Gabrielle Lansden (Dusty), Allison Lund (Bernadette), and Nancy Antonio (Harriet).
