The Gulf Coast Symphony will be hosting open auditions for its 2023-2024 Musical Theater season. The Gulf Coast Symphony will be producing five musicals this season, four at the Music & Arts Community Center and one at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.

Show schedule is: Snowbird Follies, Nunsense 2, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Grand Night for Singing, Route 66, and The Music Man. This will be the fourth season of professional musical theater produced at the Music & Arts Community Center, Southwest Florida’s newest performing arts venue.

Auditions, by invitation, are being held for local and Florida-based actors at the Gulf Coast Symphony’s Music and Arts Community Center, 13411 Shire Blvd. in Fort Myers, between Thursday Aug. 24 to Sunday, Aug. 27. In-person auditions are strongly preferred, however video submissions will be accepted for these shows via Backstage.com. All dance calls and callbacks will be scheduled same day. We welcome auditions for the child and teens for Music Man, as well adults. In a continued commitment to diversity, Gulf Coast Symphony strongly encourages any actor of any race, ethnicity, identity, and ability to submit an audition.
