Third Act will announce the official launch of Third Act Florida on Aug. 22. Third Act Florida is an affiliate group of Third Act, a national organization of senior citizens actively working against the dangers of climate change and to promote and protect our precious American democracy.

The Florida affiliate will launch with a virtual event which will include a presentation by Bill McKibben, renowned climate activist, founder of Third Act, and author of Earth, The End of Nature, Oil and Honey the Education of an Unlikely Activist, and more.

The event will also describe the mission and vision of Third Act and how to become an active part of this movement in Florida.

One does not need to be a member of Third Act to hear from Bill McKibben and learn more about Third Act.
