The Wonder Gardens will host the first-ever “Wine and Wonder Uncorked,” a wine tasting in the gardens from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.
An addition to the Gardens’ popular “Brews for the Birds” craft beer event, the new event offers tastings of red, white, Rosé and sparkling wines paired with cheeses, crackers and fruits. Two area restaurants will also offer food for purchase on site. Guests are encouraged to stroll and enjoy The Wonder Gardens during the event.
For $50, each guest will receive eight tickets for 2-ounce pours to taste all eight wines offered, or the opportunity to dedicate tickets for a 4-ounce or 6-ounce glass of a favorite wine.
“The wine stroll kicks off several new events we are planning as we head into 2024 to support our nonprofit gardens, our future animal care center and new experiences for guests to enjoy,” said Kevin Miller, director of development for The Wonder Gardens. “Our craft beer events at the Gardens have been very successful, so we wanted to also offer something for oenophiles as well.”
All guests must be at least 21 years old and present identification for entry. For information or to buy tickets visit wondergardens.org/wine.
