Adult Programs

English Café

6 p.m. Tuesdays, Dec. 5, 12

Free, informal conversation sessions for adult ESOL/ESL students.

Knit and Stitch

1 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 6, 20

A casual, self-guided group of knitters and crocheters that join together to share projects, ideas and techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and tools. Basic materials and supplies are available for newcomers.

Book Discussion: “Lessons” by Ian McEwan

10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7

From the best-selling author of “Atonement” and “Saturday” comes the epic and intimate story of one man’s life across generations and historical upheavals. From the Suez Crisis to the Cuban Missile Crisis, the fall of the Berlin Wall to the current pandemic, Roland Baines sometimes rides with the tide of history, but more often struggles against it.

All ages are invited to create a unique holiday ornament. These sparkly bulbs are a great addition to your holiday decorations and make the perfect gift for your loved ones. All supplies will be provided.

Family Storytime

10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1

For children through age 5 and caregivers. Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement. Registration is not required, but space is limited. First come, first served.

Baby Holiday Craft

Celebrate the holidays with a festive craft for you and baby. Using your baby’s footprint, you will create a memorable ornament for you or a loved one. This activity is designed for children through age 3. Limit one per child.
