The Alzheimer’s Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, will be offering a hybrid event called Discover ALZ: The State of Alzheimer’s Science on Friday, March 22 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus at 5000 T Rex Ave. in Boca Raton.

Join Alzheimer’s Association Senior Director of Scientific Engagement Rebecca M. Edelmayer, Ph.D. who will share the current state of Alzheimer’s disease. Discover the latest research and how science is driving us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.

Also hear from experts in the field, from Baptist Health:

• Michael McDermott, M.D., neurosurgeon, the Irma & Kalman Bass Endowed Chair in Clinical Neuroscience and the chief medical executive of Miami Neuroscience Institute

• G. Peter Gliebus, M.D., medical director of the Cognitive and Behavioral program at the Marcus Neurosciences Institute

• Raphi J. Wald, Psy.D., ABN, CMPC, neuropsychologist/psychologist, the Marcus Neurosciences Institute
