Harry Chapin Food Bank, the largest hunger relief organization serving Southwest Florida, has been chosen as the beneficiary of the Concert on the Lawn featuring the Ben Allen Band Friday, March 15, at The Club at Renaissance. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the performance begins at 6 p.m.

Tickets cost $30. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Harry Chapin Food Bank.

“We are thrilled to have an opportunity to raise awareness and interest around the impact food insecurity has on families in our community,” said Stuart Haniff, the chief development officer at Harry Chapin Food Bank. “For 40 years, Harry Chapin Food Bank has led the fight against hunger in Southwest Florida. Events like this allow us to continue to shine a light on our vision of a community where no person is hungry.”

Food insecurity, defined as the lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle, is a foremost concern in Southwest Florida. Feeding America estimates more than 135,250 people are impacted throughout Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties.

Now in its 40th year, Harry Chapin Food Bank feeds more than 250,000 people each month through an array of food distribution programs.

The Concert on the Lawn will include live entertainment from the Ben Allen Band, as well as food and beverage options provided by local food trucks. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

Tickets are available HERE. Attendees will be required to check-in at the gate upon arrival.

The concert is presented by the Renaissance community.
