Adult Programs

Knit and Stitch

1 p.m. Wednesdays, April 3, 17

A casual, self-guided group of knitters and crocheters that shares projects, ideas and techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and tools. Basic materials and supplies are available for newcomers.

Book Discussion: “The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store” by James McBride

Curiosity Connection: Cognitive Well-being

This month, we’ll explore ideas for maximizing our mind power and building cognitive resilience. Curiosity Connection offers adults in our community the opportunity to explore a new subject each month in arts, culture, science, and technology by combining interactive presentations and hands-on experiences with open and engaging discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to shape future programs by providing monthly subject suggestions.

Beginner’s Tech Workshop: Setting Up Your New Device

This technology workshop is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and skills required to effectively set up and optimize their new computers and tablets. Upon completion, participants will possess the confidence and knowledge to unlock the full potential of their new computers and tablets. This workshop promises an enriched digital experience, enhancing productivity both personally and professionally.

Family Storytime

For children through age 5 and caregivers. Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement.

Baby Rhyme Time

10 a.m. Friday, April 12

For babies up to 18 months. Babies and caregivers wiggle and giggle in a supportive environment. Space is limited. Arrive early and visit the children’s desk to check in.

Ranger Rob – Wildlife Adaptations

Enjoy a special presentation from Naturalist Ranger Rob. His captivating presentation is specially designed for curious minds like yours, bringing the fascinating stories of animals and their unique survival strategies to life.
