Achieva Credit Union announces Cash Classes for May
Achieva Credit Union will hold three virtual Cash Classes in May.
Anyone can attend Achieva’s financial literacy workshops held each month. The events are free and open to the public. To register, visit achievacu.com/Events.
May topics will include:
• May 2 from 4 to 5 p.m.: Saving For College, For Parents. This class discusses how to begin saving for dependent college expenses, tax advantages to saving early, types of savings plans and various scholarships and grants.
• May 16 from 1 to 2 p.m.: Help! I Want To Be Self Employed. This course is designed to assist attendees in developing a plan to start a business and become self employed.
• May 30 from 1 to 2 p.m.: The Secret To Understanding Your Credit Score. This course is designed to help attendees understand what credit is, how credit scores are determined and how to establish or improve consumer credit.
