Lee County Elections to conduct Logic and Accuracy Testing of eoting equipment for the 2024 General Election
The Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office will conduct the Logic and Accuracy Testing (L&A) of voting equipment for the 2024 general election next Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m. Testing will take place at the Melvin Morgan Constitutional Complex, Third Floor, located at 2480 Thompson St. in Fort Myers.
Pursuant to Florida Statute 101.5612, equipment to be tested includes Early Voting, Election Day and Vote-by-Mail Ballot tabulating equipment. Testing ensures that ballots are printed correctly and that the voting system is county votes accurately.
The L&A will be overseen by the County Canvassing Board, which is composed of a county judge, a county commissioner and the supervisor of elections.
