Smiles for the Community announces third annual Day of Free Dental Care set for Nov. 16
Smiles for the Community is excited to announce its third annual Free Dentistry Day scheduled for Nov. 16. Collaborating with the Blue Sea Dental group of practices and in partnership with volunteers from the local dental community, this offers free dental care to adults 18+ who might not otherwise have access to dental care.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. Treatment services will be administered until 3 p.m.exclusively for registered patients. Services are first come, first served, so early arrival is strongly recommended. We guarantee that the first 200 patients to register will be seen.
Attendees are advised to dress appropriately for outdoor waiting areas and to consider bringing along refreshments, water, and any other essentials to ensure their comfort while waiting for service. On-site parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged.
Smiles for the Community anticipates a day filled with positivity and shared happiness as participants come together to contribute to the success of this event. Adding to the atmosphere of giving, the Harry Chapin Food Bank will be onsite and barbery students from the Cape Coral Technical College Barbery program will be offering free haircuts to participants.

BACKGROUND:
Smiles for the Community was founded in 2022 by Dr. Paul UIiasz of Fort Myers, FL. From the beginning of his career, Dr. Uliasz has been committed to giving back. He and his teams have participated in numerous charitable dentistry events in the past.
In keeping with this vision of dental practices that give back, Dr. Uliasz established Smiles for the Community so the teams from his dental group, Blue Sea Dental, along with volunteers from the community, could come together to hold Free Dental Care Days for those with no access to dental care. The Blue Sea Dental family of practices includes Lee Dental Care (Fort Myers), Community Dental Care (North Fort Myers), Smile Cape Coral, Punta Gorda Dental Care, Estero Bay Dental, Smiles of Winter Haven, Sunset Harbor Dental (Cape Coral), Jupiter Advanced Dentistry, and Smiles of Fort Myers.
Untreated tooth decay, abscesses, and gum disease can lead to serious health conditions. We understand that many adults do not have access to dental care. Smiles for the Community makes dental care more accessible to our community by offering the choice of one of three services free of charge at our Free Dental Care Day events. The Smiles for the Community Free Dental Care Day is a judgment-free zones, where all are welcome, and the only questions asked are health-related to ensure patient safety.
