Lloyd Ludlow Williams, 80, of Lehigh Acres, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. He was born May 29, 1932, in Riversdale, St. Catherine, on the island of Jamaica, the son of Louise (Dunbar) and Jonathan Williams.
He spent the last eight years in Florida after moving here from Ohio. He enjoyed the game of soccer throughout his life, but was really drawn to music.
He loved listening and playing jazz and turned this passion into talent as a piano player. His knowledge and love for jazz music earned him the nickname "Blues."
He is survived by his former wife, Molly; daughters, Jacqueline (Henry) Bailey and Sonja Williams; grandchildren, Henry, Victoria, Sheirelle, Mich-El-la and Kelila Baliey, and Ana Williams; sister, Aileen Johnston; and brother, Victor (Monica) Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Julian A. Bailey.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services.
