Kathleen May Napper, 64, of Lehigh Acres, died Monday, May 13, 2013, following a brief illness. She was born May 20, 1948, in Eau Claire, Wisc., the daughter of Iva M. Peterson and Claire W. Fjelsted.
She spent her life in service to the Lord and was dedicated to spreading the gospel. She was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church and spent many years as a teacher at Sunday School.
She will always be remembered fondly as a loving mother, a caring Christian and a positive person who touched many souls along life's journey.
She is survived by her mother, Iva Fjelsted; son, Mark (Kim) Napper; daughter, April (Robert) Smith; grandchildren, Kyle, Brittany, Auburn and Riese Napper, and Kayla, Kolton, Kirstin and Kristopher Smith; brothers, Paul and Sid Fjelsted; nieces, Amy Potter, Amanda Haak and Angie Roshon; nephews, Todd Fjelsted, Brad Roshon and Luke Fjelsted.
She was recently preceded in death by her sister, Pam Fjelsted.
A visitation was held Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. A memorial service was held later at the church, with the Rev. AJ Neugebauer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Beautiful Savior Church in her memory.
