Colleen Sue (Larson) Friedlander, 59, died Saturday, July 6, 2013.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and wife, and a friend to so many.
She enjoyed craft fairs, reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family. Most recently, she worked as a business analyst at Chico's and previously Kmart.
She lived and raised her family in Lehigh Acres, but her heart was always back home in Mallard, Iowa.
She is survived by her children, Callie of New Providence, N.J., Matthew of Lehigh Acres, and Brandon of Lehigh Acres; grandchildren, Rylee, Matthew, Jack, Owen, Lila and Timothy; parents, Ted and Norma Larson of Mallard, Iowa; brothers, Rick of Branson, Mo., Ron of Mallard, Iowa, and Mike of Orange City, Iowa; husband, Jim of Lehigh Acres; and each of their families.
She was predeceased by her brother, Mark; and grandparents.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today, July 10, 2013, at Hodges-Farley Funeral Home, at 1100 Lee Blvd., and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 13, at the United Methodist Church in Mallard, Iowa, with funeral services to follow at 10:30 a.m. She will be buried at Rush Lake Cemetery in Mallard, Iowa.
